The reason I have chosen this location to do my thriller
opening is because it is an abandoned area where not many people go because it
is in the middle of nowhere and nothing is there apart from rubbish and grass.
I have chosen this area as it can be used to create a sense of abandonment
where no one can help the character which I hope to portray through the use of
longshots and extreme longshots of the area. I have also chosen this area as it
has everything I need to create a dramatic area to create the above effect.
The area has many features such as small hills where I can
take my longshots and extreme long shots from and a copse of trees which I can
use for the main part of the opening. The area is also fairly quite as it is a
small walk away from any houses so no background noise will be extremely
present such as TV noises, music and car engines. I have also recived influence from "Chernobyl Diaries" where they are in a place where no one can help them if they get into trouble.
